EPTA- ACADEMY

Ed Perpetua returns for his 20th season operating the tennis academy at Wagner College.  He is head coach of the College's men's and women's tennis teams and is the Head pro at the Club at Woodbridge, New Jersey for the last 10 years.  Ed is a U.S.P.T.R. certified professional and has 29 years teaching experience.  He has played 5 years on the pro circuit and has wins over players in the top 200 in the world.   
Ed has also had an award winning instructional tennis television series.  He has won the U.S. national doubles championships and has been ranked #1 in the east, top 10 in the United States and #38 in the world rankings in the 30 and 35 and over divisions.  He also has won 12 Staten Island's men's singles titles, 21 Staten Island's men's doubles titles and 19 Staten Island mixed doubles titles. 
Ed's philosophy of fundamental stroke production, concentration and self-discipline not only teach "the game for a life time" but develop the mind, body and spirit of each player on and off the court.

Pee Wee - For children ages 4-6 years
This program is designed to develop a child's hand-eye coordination, balance, self-esteem and disciplin, in a fun and friendly environment. The court is shorter, the net lower, the racquets are smaller and lighter, the ball are lightweight foam and the lesson plan provide an enjoyable learning experience.
Junior Classes
Beginner-Intermediate programs emphasys skills building, rehersing strokes, footwork and strategy.

Advanced classed are designed to refine strokes and strategy to enhance their effectiveness in competition. Agility and footwork is emphasized, as well as developping an individualized winning style of play.

Adult Classes
A variety of play levels are accommodated into this skill development program for adults.  The emphasis is on a firm foundation in strokes, strategy, and footwork.  Curriculum is based on current level of experience with tennis.
Summer Camp (Wagner College)
Designed to develop and challenge all levels of players ages 7 - 18.  You will focus on improving your physical conditioning and mental toughness.  All players will receive stretching and conditioning sessions, video tape analysis and game and match play.
